My name is Grady Bourguignon and I am a 17 year old junior (2014) golfer at Yuma Catholic High School in Yuma, Arizona.

My sophomore year provided me with the opportunity to continue to strengthen and develop my golf game. I saw success both on the golf course and as a member of the varsity basketball team where was the starting forward all season. I averaged 8 points and 6 rebounds per game. During the 2012 high school golf season my scoring average was 36.2 on 9 holes, and I was named All Region Player of the Year for the second year in a row. The highlight of the season was winning back to back AIA High School Golf State Championships. I have split my time between the golf course and the basketball court. This summer, I have been traveling with the varsity team at Yuma Catholic for summer basketball tournaments in between my rigorous AJGA/junior golf tournament schedule. Last year, I averaged 36 for our nine hole high school matches.

Academically, I am taking the most rigorous course work offered with 3 of my classes at the college AP level. My grade point average is a 4.5 and I am registered with the NCAA Clearing House.

As I enter my junior year, I remain committed to my goals to maintain my high academic standing, and continue to improve my golf game and develop as a player in preparation for collegiate golf. My Sophomore year was one of growth for me. While the results have not been as strong as I would have liked, my game is improving and I remain focused on the fundamentals that will eventually allow me to deliver the results that I am seeking. I am looking forward to my junior year and plan to play a rigorous AJGA and regional schedule that will include several amateur events in addition to a busy junior schedule. I also plan to play varsity basketball and continue to develop as an athlete. I am looking forward to the next year and hope to see you on the course.
